Too Smug

Three and a half years after coronavirus first emerged I tested positive this morning. It has been something I’ve taken some comfort from that I hadn’t caught it before. Now, within a week we have both succumbed. L feels much better, while I struggle with persistent headaches, a mild fever and a tickly cough.

As a result I have stayed at home and will miss a game of golf tomorrow.
