The top shelves
An Emergency Blip at the end of a frustrating sort of day - the top two shelves in the kitchen containing a random selection of items, including my ancient John Lennon mug (top left).
MrM and I are both still suffering from this annoying cold. He managed a shift for the bakery and then a day at the music shop, but was in bed by 8.00pm.
I mostly coughed pottered, but did two loads of washing (all dried by a very chilly wind), sourced a table that will fit our kitchen, and finished preparing the spice racks ready for painting. The rest of the day seemed to be filled with dealing with the solicitor.
A ray of hope early in the day. The buyers' solicitor had suggested this coming Friday as the completion date on the sale of our flat. Yippee! Then another email from our solicitor - the 'other side' had clarified this as being dependent on receipt of completed form LPE1 from the RSPCA, who are the freeholders of our flat. But as no-one at the RSPCA has a clue who is responsible for completing it, the chances of the form being completed this week are nil. Frustrating, as the form isn't mandatory and the RSPCA aren't obliged to complete it even if they do track down the relevant department/team/person. I despair...
