View along the valley
There are two restaurants on the square at the top of Via Garibaldi, and each occupies roughly the half the available territory with its tables and chairs for dining al fresco.
One is clearly more upmarket than the other, and usually a few of its tables are free. The other one is always packed.
On a number of occasions, the Minx and I have wandered up there hoping for a table at the latter, only to find the tables occupied or reserved. Unfortunately, the menu at the more upmarket venue is unappealing.
This evening, though, when we wandered up there, there was a table free at the popular restaurant, where we enjoyed very good pizzas.
And thinking I'd yet to take a Blip today, I grabbed a shot, a nighttime version of one of my posts from last week. (Well, kind of, anyway). But then I remembered I'd taken a better shot earlier, on my camera, relegating the nighttime shot to me Extra.
