Bonus

The weather turned out way better than expected.
I went to Sandycove in the morning but didn't swim, sensible ol' me. I'm hoping to clear my cough quickly. I did however have a most perfect walk to Preghane Point with the Galway visitors. We had a dip at the point, what a treat.
Later on we were treated to a BBQ at a friend's house, followed by a gorgeous fireworks display, as part of the Regatta. My friend's house has the BEST view for these.
