Long overdue sighting of an otter today! Hoorah - but it appears to be very tiring work; all this posing :)

A little earlier we saw a very large grey seal eating what looked like another, much smaller, seal out on the water. It was a long way out but there was a lot of blood in the water and whatever it was took a long time to eat. Definitely not a fish. I had to check whether this happens and apparently it does sometimes.
