Day trip

Off to Macclesfield for the day with my mum to Garf’s funeral, he is husband of Penny who lived across the road when I was 5, good friend of my mum and long time, very welcome blip lurker. Every so pleased we went, it was a good funeral with nice words. And Bring Me Sunshine at the end. My only disappointment was the vicar man didn’t do a little kick up with his heels as he left. It would have been perfect timing.

Then to the pub with a very fine buffet, chats with people I haven’t seen for decades, hugged Penny who had done very marvellously and went back to the trains. Which have been perfect all day. And I have bought two new books.
