Cafe au Lait

Another one of my huge dahlias.

I missed BP first thing as my sister was visiting and I wanted to get ahead of the game.  Yesterday's bramble jelly needed boiling up again as it did not set and there was a mountain of washing to go through the machine (JC back from holiday).  I had scheduled a call with S from Scotland and we chatted for half an hour (they have lots of tickets for the Fringe as they are now resident in Scotland they get a good discount - think they are seeing at least 20 shows over the two weeks!!)

L arrived and we chatted and caught up and it was lovely to see her.  I did budha bowls for lunch and she left mid afternoon to escape the traffic on M25.  No1 had a sleep, OH visited MIL to do her shopping and I sat and read yesterday's paper.  I have started to buy the Sunday Times (we read the Telegraph on line the rest of the time) and I enjoy all the various articles but there is so much to read - it will last me all week.

The sun shone and the washing dried and the bramble jelly set the second time and so all in all, not a bad day.
