Sunday with ...
... Spikes.
Today wasn't nearly as nice as yesterday ... it was much more humid. But that didn't stop us from going out.
Today was the annual Northampton County 4-H horse show so we packed up our lunch and headed to this event. Richard's coworker's kids no longer participate in this event but we still wanted to see all the lovely horses. When we first arrived there wasn't much going on so we drove to Graver Arboretum for our picnic lunch and a lovely walk in the woods.
After our walk we returned to the horse show but didn't stay for long this time either. We both took a few pictures and then headed home.
Once home I had a wonderful cool down in the pool before sitting out to photograph our abundant wildlife. I particularly liked this shot of a male Northern cardinal looking back at me. Please view full screen.
We have two monarch chrysalids that are getting transparent ... should be butterflies by tomorrow morning.
