Eyebrows and Eyelashes

In addition to my pedicure yesterday I also had an eyebrow wax. I go through phases of getting them done every 4 weeks and then go through phases of attacking them myself. One way or the other though I can't just leave them otherwise I end up with 2 big hairy caterpillars above my eyes and that ain't a good look!

When I woke up this morning though and looked in the mirror I noticed both my eyes under my eyebrows were bright red and a bit sore. I'm guessing the wax the beautician used must have been slightly too hot and has burnt my skin a bit. Luckily it's not that bad though and by the time I took this photo in the afternoon, it had calmed down slightly. Still a bit annoying though.

It's funny seeing such a close up of my own eye as you see things you don't notice in "real life". There are a few short hairs the beautician has missed but when I went to try to pluck them out myself just now I couldn't even see them in the mirror! And why oh why do my eyebrows NEVER sit straight! And, don't eyelashes look a bit freaky so close up!
