Clutha Winter

Walking with the Wanaka Walking group today and a wander that actually connects to last weeks adventure.but we didn't go that far. The Clutha river empties the lake and well downstream contributes to a major part of the South islands Hydro Electric system. NZ is almost coal free when it comes to electricity and is experiencing growth in Wind and Solar.The Boss and ME walked with A Cycling Granny and had a great conversation about people and adventures we remembered from the past and 15 of us descended on a larger local cafe for afternoon refreshment.
