Pokemon Ice Cream

This morning we went down to Eyemouth. 

We took a walk around the harbour, looking at the boats.  As we came back past the lifeboat station one of the crew very kindly pointed out an Otter in the water.  We watched it for about 15 minutes, and it seemed like every time it surfaced it had a fresh fish or shell to eat.  (see Cyclops' blip).  Then we went to watch people feeding seals on the other side of the harbour.  I'm not sure this is good for the seals (they look fat and lazy) but it was fun to watch.  We popped into the arcade for a bit then had a delicious lunch at which CyclopsJnr ignored the kids menu and had a brie and bacon ciabatta.

We'd spotted an ice cream shop with Pokemon ice-cream while wandering around, so we went there for dessert.  Apparently the ice-cream was white chocolate with dark chocolate chips and popping candy, and CyclopsJnr loved it.  It also came with a silly little wheeled Pokemon toy.

We were considering biking to the park, but it had been showery through the day and started raining again, so we went for a swim at the pool in Dunbar instead.

It was dry by the time we got back to the campsite, to CyclopsJnr played football and capture the flag with herds of other children most of the evening, just popping back for dinner and when he was tired and ready for bed.
