Surprise spaniel

Jess has totally surprised us this weekend by getting a little stronger.  Having had no appetite for about a week, she sat patiently at the table this evening waiting for some leftover roast dinner.  Considering where we were this time last week this feels astonishing.  

She is still quite wobbly but will eat extra yummy food, (chicken, salmon & roast dinner, if given by hand) and is breathing nearly normally.  The meds are not going to cure her, but we feel that she once again has some quality of life.  

I feel like a black cloud has has lifted a little, and will continue to pamper to her every woof.
