Introducing Winsford to The Port

There were a number of swimming options this morning. Back to Shandwick Beach for the regular 10am swim with the crew. To Migdale Loch for the epic end to end swim, which was managed by about 8 hardy swimmers, including L and K from our group. Or - my suggestion - to The Port, to allow Winsford to experience a different place for sea swimming up in Easter Ross, since that was - after all - the main motivation for coming up here. The swimming was fun, and the light was amazing.

Afterwards, we went to the Tarbat Bistro for bacon sandwiches, which were very tasty, before Winsford and T headed down the road to Pitlochry, via shopping in Inverness.

We returned to Tain, picking up a bit of shopping on the way, and spent some of the afternoon carrying on with Project Raised Beds. Mainly I was just wielding a paint brush. Mr A got on with lining the beds. Afterwards, we sat in the sun with a beer.

Other than that, we've been a bit idle. And I have a week of leave to look forward to, so we've been planning around that a little bit. There may be the odd day trip. But mostly, we hope to make more progress with Project Raised Beds and get a couple of them into service.
