Glastonbury Extravaganza

This evening saw the annual Glastonbury Extravaganza, organised by Emily and Michael Evis and held in the grounds of Glastonbury Abbey. It tends to feature acts who have performed at the main Glastonbury festival and this year The Lightning Seeds and Texas were on the bill.

We took a picnic and met our friends Tony and Rosie and Tony’s sister and brother in law there. After a day of miserable weather, the sun came out just as The Lightning Seeds took the stage and a fine if slightly chilly evening was had by all.

Earlier in the day it was the same old Saturday story: Park Run this morning and listening to Yeovil lose their opening game of the season on the radio this afternoon. We haven’t won our opening match since 2016!
