Great Silence

It has been a quiet day recovering from the past few exhausting days.  I didn't sleep well, just so tired when I went to bed but could not fall asleep, then woke constantly all night and dozed on and off from 5am onwards.  It's been pretty cool and showery but the garden looks verdant which is all that matters.  This lovely dahlia is called Great Silence and has come into bloom while we were away.. still no sign of the missing dahlia which was meant to have been planted by the gardeners.. they could not remember where they planted them all so one has disappeared.. very odd. I am hoping it will just appear once in flower.
We watched the England netball team play their world cup final vs Aus.. it reminded me what fun it was playing netball all those years ago.. super fast and they make it look easy!
Jaspers catch so far today has been 1 butterfly.. shame..
