A Few Days Away

I’m away for a few days and this is the view from my hotel room window (unfortunately the room isn’t as nice as the view). I drove over this morning for a family picnic this afternoon, leaving with wind gusts of 40mph and arriving in the cold and rain. We book a village hall for 4 hours that has a large playing field with picnic benches adjacent to it and a big car park. Given the weather we were inside the hall this year. I think there were 31 of us, I’ve added a photo of the latest addition as an extra. It’s a lovely way to see everyone and catch up. Of course, by the time we left the sun had come out and it had warmed up! I’ve only got my phone with me, so will just give stars and not comments.
