Heavy showers so we retired indoors to one of the lady’s houses on the Dargle Road to continue with the poetry. What a beautiful spot. Full of paintings, books and a piano. Extra shows another poet who is Polish and played some Russian music.

Another woman sang ‘Those Were The Days my Friend’ which was the first record produced by the Apple Label. Apparently it is originally a Russian folk song.

We all agreed that poetry is a good way to express ourselves.

It was a pleasant meet up. My main blip is from her back garden. It’s small but full of roses, anemones and lupins. Plus the healthiest and abundant woodbine I have seen in a long time.
