Bubbling Clouds

A nice gentle start to the day…breakfast at the pub we stayed at…slightly bizarre in that when we ordered coffee we each received a cappuccino!! So we asked for black coffees instead and then promptly had to order extra espresso shots to beef them up!! Apart from that it was a good breakfast. However, on the way back to take Mrs madwill’s brother home, we did drop into a Starbucks for some more caffeine :-)

We left late morning and had a good drive home, stopping for tea and a cake instead of lunch! 

At one point, near Barnsley, it got quite dark and there were some impressive dark clouds rolling in from the east…so I grabbed a quick phone snap!

Got home to find our son was here….to ‘deliver’ my birthday present (which is not for another month or so). He and our daughter had been in over the weekend to kit out our smallest bedroom as a ‘modelling workshop’ for me….they painted the walls, put up a new blind and installed a bench, lamp, tool pegboard, paints, airbrush, display cabinet and a new plastic model kit…of a warship!!
