As sweet as ever

The garden sweet peas keep on giving, more and more ... These are the latest pickings in a vase. And they smell gorgeous, too. A quiet day today, recovering from a busy week. Less so for Mr PP who is driving cross-country to visit his sister, bro-in-law and elderly aunt for a week. He feels bad for leaving me, and I feel bad for not accompanying him, but with family support needed on both sides of the country, it was the best compromise we could come up with. At least the weather has improved for his journey. No downpours, so far, unlike yesterday's torrents.
