Near the river

A day full of nice little moments, kids and their mother heavily jet lagged. Not a surprise that the kids fell asleep deeply on the drive home from Portland to Florence. After nearly two hours we decided it was time for a little break near the river, to wake up in the here and now and to take in a little bit of the beautiful scenery of the area where we live. It is the first time that my grandkids visit America as well as our town and our house. When we were finally home it was a very good moment that both kids had fun picking lots of blueberries and helped later with the making of blueberry pancakes.

And shortly thereafter kids and their mother were deep asleep again:-)
