View from a window..

We’ve had a wonderful day! Bamburgh Castle is beautiful, and made more real for me having recently read Philippa Gregory’s The White Queen and The Red Queen and feel better informed about the War of the Roses and this castle.

Anyway, it’s been a super day. A picnic, a warrior workshop, the State Rooms, the views of the beach and sea, and none of the forecast rain. Back home, R lit the fire pit and was hoping for dinner in the garden but it really was a bit chilly this evening. He’s set on breakfast al fresco tomorrow though…

Big Sis’s grandchildren are great! That Magnus! More LEGO play this evening. I let him give me advice on my model.
