New friend back blip

We went to an event in a near by town this evening. There was music and we found some nice seats under a tree to relax and enjoyed the concert. There was a baby mocking bird hopping all around and mother bird was feeding it. She was unhappy with all the people around the little bird. All of a sudden the little bird jumped up on my shoe hopped up my pant leg and jumped on my hand. Hubby took the shot of the bird on my hand. After a while I carefully sat the chick on the ground in the rock garden and it hid under some day lilies. We left it there hoping somehow it will be ok.
