The Hundred

This is one of the two small snippets of cricket that actually happened at Old Trafford today. The women’s game never started , the men’s game managed 80 balls in two separate sessions divided by rain. The second time rain stopped play we were so cold and the rain was heavy and looked determined, we decided to cut our losses and head home, we’d just got on the motorway when we heard the game had been abandoned, so at least we beat the worst of the traffic….. my legs are still cold now.
