Stormy weather

It's been a very windy mainly dull day today as Storm Antoni passed through.  This afternoon my husband and I visited friends we hadn't seen for sometime.  My friend and I planned to quickly walk down to the beach but as we stepped outside her house it started to rain.  There wasn't in fact much rain at all but we stayed for a cup of tea and cake and then ventured out again.  It was very windy so we linked arms walking along the beach to the headland with the inland wind coming from the north west.  Not surprisingly there were few people out and we did a quick circuit before returning back to her house.  A lovely afternoon and now the winds have died down and the sun is out.
