Love is the Movement

When I meet people I wonder what they're like,

I get that whole "first impressions never last" phrase stuck in my head,

and I wonder if they're going to change.

Will they hurt me?

Will they help me?

Will they ignore me?

Do they care?

and I'm surprised when they do change.

Maybe being too familiar with someone is a bad thing,

You know they will change and begin to treat you however because they "have known you a long time."

You will be less of a novelty and more of a nuisance.

You will once again be left,

alone,

To pick your broken feelings off the ground.
