Mystery plant in Grange
We d arranged to pick up Fletchs tablets at Lindale and then planned a walk along the prom at Grange.
The weather wasnt very good, but we managed a walk partly along the prom and through the park before the rain started. The table outside Butterfingerswas free, and under cover so we sat there and watched the world go by while we had apple pie and icecream.
We then strolled up the street, window shopping.
There is a lovely old shop called Lancasters. It's more of a general store and sells just about everything. .. bedding, general houseware. You can get keys cut there too. They sell outdoor clothing and also sell a vast range of shoes and sandals and the window is packed full with every type and make.
I really should have got a photo but it was raining and there was a lot of traffic to get a clear photo.
We wandered in for a browse and M saw a pair of shoes he liked. He tried them on expecting them to be tight but they were wide enough to fit very comfortably. I tried on a pair of ankle boots which were in the sale and bought them so we both did well.
It makes such a nice change to be able to walk into a shop rather than having to resort to online shopping.
The blip is of several plants which grow in the park. They are very unusual as they have a leaf growing on a leaf.. Over the years I've never managed to find out what they are called so I'm hoping some knowledgeable Blipper can help.
