Blue and Red Delight

I took a leisurely visit to Dapdune Wharf  on the River Wey in Guildford to view the Woking Camera Society's annual exhibition.  As usual, I come away feeling "why do I bother?" after seeing the quality of some of the images, and the thought that I really should print more of my own photos. Though one of the society's representatives I spoke to admitted that they have fewer printed entries each year as more and more people prefer projecting their images (primarily due to cost).

However, walking around the site I was soon back into my happy place taking photos of butterflies.  This Holly Blue  took my eye feasting on the elegant spike of what I believe is a Red Bistort perennial.
