Harvesting.....!!!!

I picked all of my beetroot today...it being a slightly ‘finer’ day than recent ones....not very impressed with them...but hopefully what has survived will be ok...medium sized ones boiling up in the pot now (Sat morning)...!!
Reading up on why they ‘bolted’ and are so small....it would seem we ‘over-watered’ them during the drought spell in May and early June...(we were trying to keep them alive)!!
Still loads of ‘wonky’ carrots though...and they are delicious..!!
