X-Ray Vision
You take a picture.
When you upload it to the computer it never looks quite like it did to your eye.
Then usually you try to "correct" it to show the essence of what you saw, even if not literally what you saw.
X-rays (a significant feature in the life of some of my family lately), Infra Red and other more exotic forms of imaging show us stuff we can't see with the naked eye.
The humble photograph can reveal things too. My eye couldn't see the reflections from the alarm onto the wall. It couldn't see the imperfections in the plastic, or the subtle changes of illumination across the panel. These may be hugely exagerated by the processing, but they are real.
I wish everything in life could be seen in more detail and clarity with the help of nothing more than a camera...
