Metro

We've been very impressed with the Washington Metro , which brought us to a number of high and low brow attractions - from the Hirshhorn Gallery to the ball game, which was exciting. Washington Nationals by a hair's breadth.

Also treated to a first class panda display early this morning.

This is Chinatown station on the way back from the game (hence the crowds). You can see the design, which extends across the whole network, opened in 1976 to the designs if Harry Weese.
