Hurdles

Near the end of my memoir writing, including this one, running hurdles, spring of 1971. A first time for this activity for me that year, I improved immensely. My final race, I ended with a crash and burn, a fall on my last hurdle race ever at Southern Oregon State College. I still bear the scars. It’s ok; it’s all part of the experience.
