Weatherwatcher!

As many of you know  I am a Weather watcher and I send photos into BBC Scotland . Today I sent the above photo in at 8.15 am.  About half an hour later my friend Cath sent me a message saying she had seen it on the BBC weather!(Extra)

Lunch up at Doune and then called into the butchers so that we can fill the freezer.

Decided to go for a walk along the canal this afternoon. To cut a long story short a young Dutch chap had taken ill after drinking contaminated water from a burn. He had phoned an ambulance but it had  not arrived. He was very poorly and was lying across his backpack when we parked the car.

After two calls from the ambulance call centre and one from the police we decided to take him to A and E. ( John took Chloe home and brought a bucket !)

We got the poor soul into the car and was just on our way to  A and E  when we got a call to say the ambulance arrived four minutes ago! No it didn’t!!

I’m quite sad to say I did not think the reception at A and E was overly sympathetic. However , after all details were given,  we left our casualty and wished him well.
