Last paid working day for a while - tomorrow starts the working for free!  Sad to see in the press all the grumbling about the road closures for the UCI event, they have been publisied really well and it seems like many people haven't taken them into account for journey planning and are now raging.  Though I do have sympathy for the donut shop who couldn't get through the barriers to deliver their donuts today - I'll have to make sure that I pop by to get some whilst in town to make up for it.

P was feeling tons better today so I suggested a stroll round Lanark loch which also ended up trying out a new Indian restaurant that I'm sure we'll be back to.  Jurassic Lanark is on again and I had too blip this magnificent T Rex Skeleton.  They also have a dinosaur themed pop up shop with a fantastic dinosaur wicker basket in and I want one but it doesn't look like it's for sale.

Also nipped up to the Blackhill viewpoint on the way home, carefully went round the cows and admired the view for a bit.  Could just about see Ben Lomond and the Trosssachs through the haze.
