Sally Mair - Loving life

Coo with a view

I enjoyed a lazy start to the day today after my early risings with Josie. I'm still coughing which is irritating, but feeling much better, I'm lacking in stamina too so feeling a bit sorry for myself, but otherwise fine!
I headed out to Ikea early this afternoon to return a tray which wasn't right for what we wanted of it.
My next stop was Mortonhall Garden Centre to meet with blipper Marchmont. We've been trying to meet up for months since she returned from Malaysia and I got back from India. Today we finally made it!
We put the world to rights and had a good catch up blether over tea/coffee and scones for a couple of hours. The weather was nicer than it's been all week so we were able to sit out in the sunshine. It did cool off rather quickly though. As we left we both decided that Mortonhall House would make an appropriate blip subject, so I anticipate a blip snap. The house dates from the early 18th Century and is now converted to flats and office space. It does have a magnificent outlook. My thumbnail shows some of the resident herd of Highland Cattle.
