Holme Island

Our final full day with C and the grand-children.  The weather forecast was good so we walked into Grange along the Prom and the children rode their bikes which Dad had brought up in the boot of the car.    There are swings along the route so we detoured for them to enjoy them.  

We had intended to go to the Hazlemere for lunch but there was a long wait for a table for 5 so we bought a sandwich next door and ate it near the duck pond.

Home via more swings and then to the local farm for ice-cream which the children enjoyed.  They particularly liked the donkeys and cows there.

We are exhausted.
