Dahlias

We went to Blickling Hall today. The house is fascinating inside. It dates back to 1650 or thereabouts. They had two of the first pianos ever made and they were rectangular. They didn’t look like a modern piano. The gardens weren’t very extensive unless we missed some of it when it started to rain. We legged it back to the car. Well, more accurately, I hobbled quickly as my hip is very painful. We did see a wonderful display of Dahlias though. There were 11 or 12 different varieties.
