Eau

As an effort to catch up - another one of Gill's fabric arts pieces.  Knowing that she will have some hospital time later this year she is trying to get ahead of the timetable with her themed fabric pieces. (see yesterday's blip for an explanation)

This one is obviously based on water!

Our son Stuart is now with us while his mortgage and flat purchase are hopefully sorted out. It can't be easy for him moving back in with M&D so there is some manoeuvring trying to give everyone some space.  He is at a co-working space in Leamington this morning, probably a good thing as he will be among people of his own age etc.  He's back here this afternoon for some quiet while he is involved in a video call.

On an entirely unrelated and very different note: My church grass cutting colleague and I made a start on clearing an overgrown garden for someone in the village who is disabled and living in social housing.
Something of an eye opener for me, quite a lot of junk uncovered by the big strimmer,  I found a rollator (wheeled walker), a damp chipboard three drawer chest, and a large whicker chair all overgrown and hidden by the weeds. If you are having to use a big electric buggy to get about, how are you supposed to get stuff too big for the wheelie bin to the tip?

Difficult not to make assumptions and judgements!
We think he might be ex-military so Tony (my colleague) is trying to see if there is some assistance available from there,  I have asked the local councillor about getting the green bin emptied without him having to pay the whole year subscription.

I have no idea what the answer is.
