Lasting?

Edinburgh trying to mimic what Banksy consider’s to be the UK’s greatest artwork (Glasgow’s traffic cone hatted Duke of Wellington, seen last Friday)…we’ll see how long it stays in place!
For a change woke to a relatively bright morning and an early dash down to town for a hair cut, then home to settle in to more Fringe planning and some ironing and chatting to DF about her travel plans. Watched in on the camera as the carers and physio worked on helping P move from bed to chair in his room and make sure their comms with him were fair….seemed ok but I’ll see what he thought of it later.
Down to town again to meet MC for another annual governor chat, then straight on to meet LF for a catch up and general support session plus KPI drafting. We moved from the cafe when it closed and had a cheeky frozen margarita before she went to a reception to do official mingling and I walked over to meet R. Sat outside at 56 North and then from nowhere there was a downpour so we hid for a while before dashing over to the New Mexican restaurant for supper. Chatted on (or rather shouted over an enthusiastic Mariachi band!) whilst we ate, then retired to a very quiet Advocate pub for an extended funny conversation about times gone by, relationships, puppies, harpists, coincidences and longevity. A good evening. Home quite late and straight to bed.
