Junk

We have a new favourite restaurant, Junk, on Newington Road. It's a newish, small plates place, which I'm generally not a huge fan of, but it works. The vibe is great and the food delicious. We went after going to the Gildrd Balloon launch party, where around 10 acts did tasters from their set. Felt for the team trying to drum up interest for their children's show The Slightly Annoying Elephant. Wrong crowd. Last year it was Basil Brush in the same slot and he had nostalgia to help connect to the audience.
