Summer is here

This has to be one of the worst summers ever. M’s birthday today and normally we are celebrating in sunshine but not this year. She is in an equally wet Paris with S and although they are no doubt having a good time, it would be better in the warmth of a normal August day.
Here, it’s been work and little else, but hey ho
