Cake tester!

Lots of home cooking goes on, and the kids are all expert bakers. Beau particularly likes testing the cake mixture after he's mixed it. This is a stage of the baking process which is embedded in my memory from being a 6 year old like Beau, when my Mum passed the electric mixer paddles to me for licking. Then of course, I ran my fingers around the bowl as my Mum put the cake mix in the oven. Now 45 years later, I get to do it over again, but thanks to a 6 year old baker! Ooo, still tastes delish', with takes me right back...

PS, Beau's lemon and lime sponge cake is perfect!
