Killed a squash this time! :—) Veggie lovin’ country dawg!
Had a rather exciting day. The lady who helps me in the house occasionally came and so did the guy to install our new high speed internet. He got a nasty surprise when he moved a board covering the crawl space: a huge COPPERHEAD! These snakes are highly venomous and bad news! He grabbed the hoe and I got a pistol. He was able to chop off the tail but I never got a shot. It went into the outside AC unit. You know I don’t like to kill even snakes but this one is right at the house. We can’t have that. A bite is extremely serious for animal and human. Hopefully it will show itself again or just move on. Needless to say, he did not enter the crawl space. I’m so thankful he was not bitten.
