Touché
I'm back out in Beaverton with the Grands till Sunday afternoon. Up at 5 a.m. because C had an early plane. I haven't had time yet to read the comments on Aimee's photo, and I may not have much time for a few days. Evan is in Fencing Camp this week. Fencing camp! Who would have thought it? Don't know where he got the idea, but there was a camp, and he got in. (He's not in this photo, he was off to my right, but I like this one.)
Quick takes on Greece: great food, loved swimming in the Aegean, Acropolis was amazing to see (from a tour bus, because it was 110F that day), "A fairy's toe" worked perfectly. Funny story: one hot day Bella said "Gracias" instead of "a fairy's toe," and the vendor made a face and said, "Huh?"
Evan thought the Temple of Athena was the prettiest ancient site they saw. I asked why. He said it just seemed like what a temple should look like. He also said the felafel gyro was the best food (other than his mama's) he ever ate. They are tired now of eating out, swimming, and walking. We're playing games, eating snacks, and making crafts. Felix is not amused, but he'll live.
