SEA HOLLY Eryngium maritimum

We had some rain this morning then it was dry for the rest of the day ... until this evening when the rain returned.  So at least it was OK when I walked down to the village this afternoon to collect some parcels from Tesco.

Watched some TV when I got home and hung the washing up to dry in the utility room. Didn't want to chance putting it outdoors.

Messaged M to see if she was going to slimming group.  She wasn't.  That meant I would have to walk.  As my back and knees were aching I decided to just give group a miss this evening.  Ive been " off plan " for 2 weeks and only started back on the healthy eating on Monday so now I will have another week to try and get a few more pounds off before weigh in.

This evening Neil and Rachael  started their journey back home - their plane left Toronto Airport at 11pm our time. They will change planes in Dublin and get to Newcastle sometime tomorrow morning.  They have really enjoyed their trip.  Rachael especially as she spent time with some of her family.

There is no theme for Abstract Thursday so I took a photo of my Sea Holly plant which lives in a pot just outside my front window.  Did some processing using the InCollage app.  Thanks as always to Ingeborg for hosting.
