3140. Negative Space….
Day 3 of the 30 Days of Composition challenge with A Year with my Camera….it’s quite a tricky one to get to be honest but the skies looked great this morning as the rain threatened.
Into town this morning to do a few bits and pieces then met hubby in the pub for lunch. There are cycling championships here this week and the town is chaos for cars, buses and pedestrians. The council have closed various roads but this morning they’d actually closed pavements too…which is ridiculous! Quite a few cyclists were in the town and most of them were riding on pavements and through the pedestrian areas…it’s not ok for them to do this in my opinion. I don’t know why the organisers can’t get this right as I’m totally fine with the road closures…not fine with the pavement closures or the cyclists riding around the town in pedestrian areas or on pavements. Rant over…..but the road chaos is causing a lot of issues and hubby was nearly run over at a pedestrian crossing this morning, the lights were at red for the cars and there was a bus at a nearby stop when he started to cross, a car overtook the bus obviously not realising (or caring) that the lights were green for pedestrians and narrowly missed him.
