Up The Creek and Back. With a Paddle.

An afternoon spent canoeing kayaking on the big creek between Chincoteague and Assateague Islands. Across the creek, up the creek, back across the creek, down and up a little creek, back down again. Three hours of paddling. Blimey, it was hard work. But the sun beat down and we saw egrets and blue herons and little turtle heads bobbing out of the water, so no complaints.

And it's put me in the mood for some lobster tonight.

Update - We had lobster tails and a proper prawn salad for dinner at the Village Restaurant.. With a view over the creek (a different one).
