Abandoned nest ?

Clearing out some of the dead conifers and overgrown shrubs in the front garden and we discover this dried up nest in amongst a conifer, two lonely little unhatched eggs, a lovely blue colour, unusual to see eggs like this ?? A little search on the web and all I can decipher to a conclusion is that they're robin eggs ??? Can anyone correct me on that or are they another species eggs ?
