International Film Festival

All day dedicated to the Film Festival. Early afternoon a welcome reception with the directors (plus finger food and local wines), at 6pm then the opening ceremony in the “Chiostro della Magistrale (SUPSI)” with speeches, local wines, and bubbly as well as risotto being served. And finally at 9.30pm the first movie started on the Piazza Grande.

Unfortunately, the heavens opened up just after the welcome address when the film started and did not stop anymore. We endured an hour covered with our rain coats but then declared defeat and left afterwards.

Tomorrow is another day.
