Carolina Ruellia (wild Petunia)

We took a nice walk last night and then enjoyed a campfire to finish the day. I was all set for a comfy deep sleep. Millie crawled up between us and all was good within our small world. While hubby took a ride on one of several mountain bike trails here, I decided to clean the camper. The folks who did its annual inspection left dusty dirt on the floor and we’d been too busy to get to it. This is not the best season for blip subjects in the forest. I happened across this delicate wildflower during my search. How nice that it survived the heavy rain on Sunday and foot traffic. Later I prepared all ingredients for a taco salad. We read and rested after that. We won’t need another meal so I guess we will have a repeat of last night. The weather has been amazing; we have been blessed to have this alone time with nature. Hope you can enjoy similar peace and harmony. Stay safe. Thanks for visiting. “No matter how chaotic it is, wildflowers will still spring up in the middle of nowhere.” ― Sheryl Crow
