Windermere

C and the grand-children joined us for breakfast after spending the first night in the tent.  They survived, despite the rain.

We had planned to go to Cartmel Show today but the rain as it was heavy and promised to be present for much of the day.  Instead, we went to Windermere Jetty to see the lego model of part of the Lake District (which was very impressive) and play with some lego.  The children loved this.

Home, and a walk out to the salt marsh as it had stopped raining.  We roasted a turkey crown for dinner and they wolfed this down.

Good, but very tiring, day!
